A Sporting Revolution?

Z Magazine's Michael Albert & Robin Hahnel have been working on "participatory economics," or "parecon", a vision/model of what a decentralized, democratic economy would look like for awhile. At Michael Albert's Blog, someone wrote in to him with a fictional account of what it might look like if all the NHL players currently on strike adopted a parecon-like system. It's quite entertaining.
