Pete, Paul or Mary?
So I just handed in one of my big final papers for the semester. Schwoo. Feels good.
However, I have to share a silly story. While proofreading my paper for one last time, I caught a little mistake: when I meant to cite the sociologist Paul Willis, I had accidently written Pete Willis.
Who is Pete Willis, you ask? The former guitar player from Def Leppard. By the way, Willis had an eery resemblance to Paul Gilbert in 9th grade - scroll to the bottom (Paul Gilbert's whole website is hilarious, actually, and he's a freakin' awesome guitarist, too).
I'm such a dork. Now I'm going to go write my political science paper on Lou Rawls...er, I mean, John Rawls.
