Dear Microsoft,

Thank you for writing an application like Word that is both such an industry standard that we're all forced into using it and also such a piece of crap that it crashes regularly. Normally, I'm in the habit of hitting "save" every 15 seconds to plan for this inevitable occurence, but sometimes I forget and those tend to be the times your wonderful application decides to crash. I must be going now: I have to retype a good chunk of my paper.
